Tallyspan is published and operated under the name Tallyspan. It is a free aggregate and gravel quote calculator for people who already have measurements and want to understand the quantities and supplier terms behind a purchase.

The tool carries one project from measured areas to material requirements, then compares two entered quotes. Its purpose is to make differences visible: product units, supplied quantities, monetary floors, delivery and tax.

Editorial responsibility

Tallyspan maintains the calculator, explanatory pages and worked examples. The methodology states the formulas, rounding conventions and limits. Arithmetic examples are checked against the same calculation engine used in the planner.

No professional engineering review, certification, supplier partnership or material suitability assessment is represented. Physical conversion values and commercial terms come from your inputs, not a hidden recommendation table.

Corrections

Report a formula, wording or accessibility issue to [email protected]. Include the relevant units and steps, with private supplier information removed. Reported issues are reviewed against the documented method; corrections should update both the behavior and its explanation.

The planner is useful without an account, subscription or advertising. There is no supplier ordering or lead-generation service.
